Who are you to say yes

Who are you to say yes

We are
Holding breath
Hoping for the shouting to stop,
We are
Taking steps
To stand in place not to be moved.
We are
Saying no more
To men with masks and guns
To mothers murdered
And babies taken
And nurses slain while giving aid
And bombs killing nations
Made of nurses and babies and mothers
And schoolgirls and
People.
We are saying no
Who are you

to say yes.
