Untold Suffering seldom is…somebody said that

I’m very tired and my leg hurts a lot. I’m getting tired of the subject though.

Small things.

The Bean and I both really like Monster High Dolls.

I was inordinately happy to tell her about Cat Town. She reads an episode or two a night.

The theme song from Cat Town is my current ring tone. I get a lot of strange looks.

Here is how you can make free ringtones with itunes. I’ve made a Dr. Who, one from When You’re Evil (Voltaire), another one The US.S. Make Sh*t up (again with Voltiare), one Jill Tracy (my husband’s ringtone) Let’s Spend and Evil Night Together and finally the one I’ve used most often The “Cat I’m a kitty Cat and I dance dance dance and I dance dance dance.”

Ok, so here’s how… I’ve copied this from elsewhere but that’s because I’m being lazy and don’t want to write outmy own instructions

1. Right click on the song you are going to make into a ringer and select “Get Info”.

2. Go to the “Options” tab and go down to the “Start Time” and “Stop Time” check boxes. Check both boxes and input the time you want your ringer to start/stop. The ringer has to be 30 seconds or less. Click “OK” when you’re done.

3. Right click on your newly “clipped” song and select “Create AAC Version”. The song will be re-encoded using the start and stop times determined (If your menu item does not read “Create AAC Version” and reads “Create MP3 Version”(or some other format) please go to “iTunes -> Edit -> Preferences -> General” and change the “Import Using” drop down menu to “AAC Encoder”).

4. After the song is done encoding navigate to your iTunes Music folder, locate your song, and drag it to your desktop. After the song is on your desktop go back to iTunes and delete the clipped version from you iTunes library (It won’t delete it from your desktop, it will only remove it from iTunes).

5. Go back the song on your desktop and right click on your song and chose “Properties”. Go to the name and extension section and change the extension from .m4a to .m4r (or you can just change the extension right from your desktop).

6. After the extension is changed simply double click on the file to add it to your iTunes library under the ringtones section. Sync your phone with iTunes and you’re done!

Wheeeeeeeeee. I suppose buying a ringtone maker would be easier, but it wouldn’t be FREE.

And Finally: Lemon skittles taste like the cleaning fluid smelled that they used in the Pink House, a day care I went to as a child. And that makes me feel lonely, a little scared and full of unknown possibility or a fleeting moment.

  1. Buying ringtones isn’t all that easy with my carrier, anyway. You have to subscribe to some monthly service… Gawd! I had a phone once that let me record my own. Paying for them makes me growl. OK, I’m off to check out Cat Town. ~Tui
