A misting rain falls

Our child sleeping quietly

Now we can exhale.

Weeks of dislike churn

broken hearted news delivered

All wish to turn back.

Too much to be done

Too little strength to move much

Frantic work and full stop 

 


The rules no longer require 5-7-5 but I try to stick with that as much as possible. The moment will supercede, however.
