Goodbye 2005

This is one of those de rigeur end of the year wrap ups. Yet I find myself rather loathe to write anything at all. 2005 didn’t suck for me as much as it has for others. 2004 was a nightmare, but 2005 brought with it our move to Fayetteville, so it can’t suck that much, honestly. Perfection

Absolutely, positively, without a doubt a perfect perfect party. More later. Jeepers I’m SO HAPPY.

Santa!

The Bean told Santa she wanted a pink scooter and a bouncy ball. No tears, a little shy at first and waited pretty well (with a few forays to toy stores) for 1.5 hours. We also ended up in line with some folks we knew and their little baby boy Alex, whom Emily wanted to take home with her.

Miss Ninny update

Looks like Miss Nin’s thyroid is fine. The doc thinks she might have an infection so she’s on amoxicillen and baytril for the next two week. So that makes three of us on antibiotics Keep your paws cross this clears everything up. She goes back for another fructosamine and liver test in a couple of weeks to see if this… (more…)

Xmess Seasonings

They had an all volunteer nativity pageant (complete with bunnies and wise women and extra stars)at Church today. Emily was a Shepherd and James was a sheep. It was so cute my head exploded.
