I've kept a lot of journals over the years both paper and online. My first online Journal was in 1998 and continued through January 2004. I've used various methods to create these from notepad to livejournal. Now I'm turning to a blog because LiveJournal became just too weird of a place for me. My Blogs, one for Emily and one for my essays will not be terribly personal. More like a documentary for the former and a repository of philosophical meanderings for the latter. It took me awhile to discover that putting your life online is just too intrusive. But it was fun (mostly) while it lasted. I am removing my archives from this site for now and maybe always --it just doesn't make sense anymore.
